I am sorry to report that the Bookstore is temporarily down. I am removing myself from Amazon.com's "associate" bookstore program and will be recoding all of my book and film links from other sources. I regret having to take such a drastic step, but it has been brought to my attention that Amazon.com is promoting pedophilia by selling a book that caters to child molesters. What is truly sad is the response I received from Amazon.com when I wrote them to ask if they would drop this book from their shelves. You may read our entire e-mail exchange here. Because of Amazon.com's response, I am now removing all links to their site and their products and will no longer be purchasing anything through them. I have never been a big fan of boycotts, but this is one cause that really hits home with me as the mother of three young sons. I would urge you to join me in hitting Amazon.com in the pocketbook and telling them why you are doing so by dropping them a line at feedback@amazon.com. It is time to "raise a standard," as the Bible says, and whether you are a believer or not, surely you can join me in agreeing that pedophilia is a grossly immoral crime, and no company which allows pedophiles to spread their nets deserves our business. Since writing Amazon.com, I've also discovered that Barnes & Noble carries child pornography, so I will not be using them as a source for books, either.
