To calculate the shipping cost for your order, please use the USPS website. Click on their Shipping Calculator, then add up the total ounces you’ll have shipped, using this chart as a guide:

* Supplements - 4 oz

* $12.95 patterns - 9 oz

* $15.95 patterns - 11 oz

Enter our origination zip code (22801) and your destination zip code to get the shipping cost. Add 50 cents to orders for a single pattern, since we have to pay for the envelope for first class orders. Orders for two or more patterns have free priority mail envelopes, so there’s no need to add the additional cents. Then add your shipping cost to your pattern total and send that to PO Box 2155, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Please do be sure to enclose a note telling Heather what you want to order. She has received several orders lately with no letter enclosed–only a check with a cryptic note in the memo section! Make sure you write the exact name of the pattern you’re ordering so there’s no confusion on our end. Thanks!

All patterns are shipped the day after your order is received. However, it is very important to note that we are not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected mail. Be aware that the USPS does not guarantee even its “overnight” deliveries–let alone Priority Mail or First Class! If you need something urgently, it is vital that you request another shipping method. Order Fulfillment can provide you with the exact pricing and help you to place your order with the additional funds needed to use these more reliable services. USPS is less expensive, yes, but, as the old adage goes, “you get what you pay for!” Please use the feedback form below to request this service.

We have a three-day return policy, which means you have three days after receiving a pattern to decide whether or not you will keep it. If you decide for any reason to return it, please let us know by dropping a line through the feedback form. Once we receive the pattern, we will issue a refund for its purchase price, minus shipping. Do note that, while all orders are filled in Virginia, the business location of Sense & Sensibility Patterns is in Alabama, so Alabama residents need to add the 8% state sales tax to their order total (before adding shipping costs). Note to our Canadian customers: We cannot process Canadian cheques, but we can cash international postal money orders from Canada. The easiest method by far, though, is Paypal, since Paypal can process your Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, or debit card with no extra fees. Thanks!

Air Mail shipping to Canada (including British Columbia) is $6.00. Air mail shipping for one pattern to the United Kingdom, Germany, and France is $14.00. Far East orders (including Australia and New Zealand) is $16.00. If you wish to order more than one pattern, please contact us through the Shipping Inquiry Form for an exact quote. If ordering via my website, the cart will automatically add the proper amount of postage based on weight.
