7. Benjamin Ethell was born in 1757 in Loudoun County, Virginia.⁽⁴⁰⁾ He was a shoemaker between 1780 and 1820. He had an estate probated in 1800 in Boone County, Missouri. He signed a deed in 1800 in Warren County, Kentucky. He appeared on the census in 1810 in Clarke County, Kentucky. ⁽⁴¹⁾ He applied for a pension on 31 Aug 1818 in Warren, Ky. ⁽⁴²⁾ He appeared on the census in 1820 in Clarke County, Kentucky. ⁽⁴³⁾ He received a pension in 1820 in Kentucky. ⁽⁴⁴⁾ He died on 6 Oct 1828 in Boone County, Missouri.

He was married to Winifred in 1780. Winifred was born Virginia. Benjamin Ethell and Winifred had the following children:

12 iii. John Ethell was born in 1785.
13 iv. Susanna Ethell was born about 1787.
14 v. Lucy Ethell was born about 1789.
